    Rear-facing infant seat in C7

Looking at picking up a new car in the next few months when our X5 lease is up. High on the list right now is a C7 S6. Does anyone have any first hand experience on a rear facing infant seat in this car? Our son is due any day now, and we currently have the Chicco Keyfit 30 installed in both our cars (X5 and 2014 ML350). I'd like to keep it on the passenger side rear vs. in the center. How is the front passenger legroom with the infant seat installed? My wife is only 5'2" so we don't need a lot of space, but I'd like to make sure it can fit safely.

Other cars we're looking at are an SQ5 (maybe too small), Cayenne S, and RRS. As you can tell by my sig I've been on the BMW/Audi alternating cycle, but think I'll stick with Audi for a while. I'm also considering waiting on the next Q7 but sounds like it's been delayed AGAIN! Thanks!

Doesn't seem to be an issue with a wide variety of brands:

Works fine, but if you are long legged, it will cause the front seat to be put more forward than usual.

I have our rear facing in the middle using the seat belt since LACTH is not supposed to be used in the middle. I would probably fit on one of the sides with the seat up just a bit. We are about to turn our son forward facing and then he will go to the passenger side rear

theres enough room in the front seat with a rear facing child seat in the S6 with sport seats, in the regular A6 theres even more room with the standard or comfort seats because the backing of the front seat is flatter and can go backwards farther. the S6's sport seats has a hump/plastic shell so you lose a about 1-2", in the loaner C7 A6 I got, there was more room for the person sitting shotgun with a rear facing seat in back, but both will be fine.
