    Hey guys need some help.
I am planning on plasti dipping my front OEM S4 grill black. ( Excluding the Audi rings and S4 grill badge.)

I have been getting mixed answers with my friends, some say leave it chrome as others cant wait till i do it.

    What do you think?

    Thanks

Do just the surround, not the whole grille. I won't make that same mistake twice.

Unless you want a two tone grill, do the whole thing...trust me you will not regret it

Once you start dippin you won't stop =]
But honestly if you do the trim you need to think about doing the trim around the windows etc because it will look out of place.

I bought an S4 grille for my A4 a while back. When I went to do the trim, I didn't think much of the center being a different color and I dipped the whole thing. About a week later, I wanted that old S4 grille color back. Grilles are more than a bitch and a half to peel with all those angles. It still doesn't look great after hours of peeling. It's the only thing I've ever regretted dipping.

If you know you want the grille black, by all means, go ahead. If there is any chance you'll want the stock color back again, I'd suggest you refrain from dipping it.

I did plasti dip to my grill. I left the chrome surround and the audi rings alone. I only painted the grill and the front filler plate black. I love it.
