Do you own a multimeter? Wouldn't you be able to test which one is ground via an ohms test, then you are down to only 2 unknowns. So then you can figure out which one of the two is sending power, then that only leaves you with the signal wire?

(might have to be a member to see the attachment in the second post)

you could do an ohms test that way too to find the signal wire correct?

If I had my car with me I would check for ya.

Thank You very much guys but I don't have as of right now an ohm multimeter in my hands. I just was hoping someone has an open project in garage so can go and check this out.

I just realized I was smoking crack, as that info wouldn't help you determine which pin went to which wire anyway. Sorry I have no idea what I was thinking when I was on that train of thought lol

    Just found this:

    The 1.8T Wiring Harness Explained

    http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...ness-Explained

    Crank Position
    Connector: Grey (3 pin)
    1: Black
    2: Blue
3: Grey *what you called white*
Granted it is for a 1.8t but I am betting those will match up with the 1-2-3 on your plug
