I had both axles replaced on my 01 audi a6. When i turn my wheel 95% to the right or left and i hit the gas a little harder theres that grinding, bumping noise and feel on the wheels. Now i am not sure if this is normal or not. Any help will be great. The noise/feel isnt extreme, but its still there

I am new to my allroad. I had the same question. Had the car looked at. "Quattro grind" is what they said and considered it normal. It feels akin to putting an old truck in 4 and then trying to make a tight u turn. Binding/hopping bumpy feeling.

    Wait, that's normal?

All this time I thought it was the 18s rubbing on the fender lining on full lock or something (don't remember having that issue on the stockers).

Done it on every mechanical 4 wheel drive car I've ever had. Some worse than others. Low speed tight turns get all the diffs working.
