    Ahhh!!!! Airbag!/bags!

    So while taking a left turn on one of the beautiful Portland roads off of Hawthorne.... I hit a pot hole the size of Jay Leno's head. This caused a loud pop and blew my airbag. Thank God I was in level 2 because I'm pretty sure it would have taken my bumper as well. I've heard of people making the state pay for their bent or damaged rims, you think I can for my airbag/bags? Also should I replace all the bags at the same time? Any deals running?

    Take a look into it with your city road maintenance department or your state transportation department. I know for sure that here in California, Cal Trans our state's road maintenance people pay for your damage if it happens cause of negligence caused by them. Just gotta file a complaint directly to them. Don't ask how I know lol ;-)

    Had a friend do this in New Jersey with a pot hole...bent 2 of this 24" rims. However, it took 6 months or so to get it paid. Got over $6000 though.

    I did it for my moms car actually. The town mailed me a check for $80 to fix it because she hit a huge pothole that snapped both swap bar end links on her buick lol. Cost me $14.99 at auto zone to fix it myself too

    Might be a long shot, but;

    There is a new shop in Cali doing big things in the bag world. Anthony seems to be good friends with the owner. As well as the owner being a sprint blue allroad owner and a member of the forums. I follow him on instagram and his latest post was in regards to a bag replacement kit for the allroad's and directly comparing them to arnott kits (basically bashing the arnott kit vs his custom kit)

    Give them a call though, it might be worth it.

    Damn, that sucks. I know that area of Hawthorne well but haven't seen that bad of a pot hole. Wow!

    I would replace both front bags but if you are tight on money I've heard that you can replace one bag at a time with the Gen 1 Arnott's. I have Gen 1's on the front of mine and they've been great but they were installed before I bought the car so it may be before they had their reliability problems.

    If you need any help wrenching let me know. I live in SE Portland.

    So I checked them out, pretty cool concept and I respect the engineering in his work. But I can't shell out between 3 and 5000 for a system that's that complex and me have little understanding of how they work.

    So I've been calling around on prices for my bags, tossing in the air if I wanna go crazy and replace all and new struts or just do the front bags in Gen I's. If some peeps want to get down on a group by please let me know asap. My AR is my DD so I'll be making a purchase in the next 24hrs. btw does anyone have any 10% off codes or free shipping codes??
