New 2014 S4! Pictures and Initial Mods

Just picked up a new 2014 B8.5 S4 in Monsoon Gray Metallic. Has 83 miles as we speak and I can't wait to drive her more. She's headed into the shop tomorrow to get an Xpel Ultimate Clear Bra installed on front bumper, quarter hood, fender flares, and mirrors. Planning on a front license plate delete sometime next week--I live in CA. (Probably using matte black vinyl to wrap the gray slats and cover up the unsightly drilled holes). Recommendations for any future mods are more than welcome!

Options are as follows:
Prestige Package, Black leather/alcantara sport seats, Audi Quattro w/ rear sport differential , Layered Aluminum/Black wood inlays, Supercharged Badges, 18 inch stock wheels

Alcantra is standard in a Prestige. Nappa is an option.

Haha thanks! I definitely agree, should probably find a show plate for the rear and completely remove the front plate.

Anything specific about the front end? Front license plate holder will be removed next week so that should definitely make things better.

They are summers on the 18s. That's what it had on the lot. Planning to run through those tires and then upgrade to some 19 inch wheels with summer tires and keep the 18s for a winter set up.

I came up for the weekend to pick it up. Deal was MSRP minus all tax, title, and license which is real close to 10% off MSRP in CA.

It is called Beaufort black wood with aluminum inlays. It (at least in Canada) is a $1200 option (2x the price of the CF trim from factory), but they are hand made. I was told it is only available on certain s models 2013+. E90brad had posted some pics in the Q5 forum.

Definitely try to see them in person, it is hard to catch the grain with the camera.

Campblett did about as good of a job as I could showing the trim. The trim is flush and it is strips of aluminum layered into the wood. In the US, it is the layered black wood/aluminum trim option which is an $1100 compared to $500 for the carbon fiber trim. In my opinion, it looks very classy and sleek.

I got every option on mine but side assist. Now I wish I world have got it but oh well. I have sports diff so it's cool. My car came with 19' peelers I'm not changing until I get sick of them. That was a $800 so I'm going to keep them. Congrats on the purchase must feel good driving a S4 right lol
