    Turbo Calibration Warrnings?

Sooo....I was going to replace the seal between the turbo and down pipe but of course the top outer bolt/stud broke right off while trying to remove the nut. Yay I'm probably going to go ahead and remove the turbo so that I can drill and remove the rest of the stud, if it is a stud. I'm hoping so. Are there any warnings or precautions i should know about before removing the turbo? I don't want to mess with any calibration or timing or junk like that. Yes, this is the first car I've owned with a turbo so slowly learning. Slowly.

    Words of advice? Thanks

Yes, it is a stud. No calibration for turbochargers. Only when assembled do they need precision balancing. Try not to spin the wheels without oil on the bearings.
