Bottom one has the head shearred off.
    Hitachi MAF bolts.

Should I remove it and replace the sheared unit? I've never dealt with MAFs before...

Yet again, nothing but problems with your build lol

Just replace it, the factory MAF uses those security bolts, so it looks like whoever swapped it just reused the stockers, but you can replace them with any head you like so long as its the same length/size/pitch

If the MAF is in there solid and not vibrating then you are probably fine to leave it as is, but if it were me I would replace it because I am OCD like that haha

This is why I have so many "problems." I am just fixing everything the right way at the beginning.
I have a decent sized list of small things that I need to find replacements for. Things that a regular owner would not care about.

It should actually be ready to fire up tonight after work. Filled with oil last night, and hastn dripped a bit. Picked up distilled water this morning and have the G12 at home waiting...

Good call. I'll gopro the first start later.
But new clutch, so no pulls. And it's not insured beyond storage, so side roads only.
Also, rebuilding the rear calipers next week, so it's going right back into the garage.

EPL had one that came with their kit. There was one sold recently on classifieds. Hey airjawed, I'm going to install my 034 85mm maf this weekend just for sh*ts and giggles to see how my ETG 3F tune like it.

I'm running the 3F tune at the moment... stock MAF. Got a revision from ETG and it is running great. I'll change it over to proper 3 the moment my MAF gets to me.

Running the 3F on a 85mm should make the ECU think you are getting less air than you actually are....LEAN!!!! You have been warned!!

I wouldn't, your larger MAF will sending the ECU incorrect values that is not expecting. Since the ECU doesn't "know" there is a larger maf in place, it will think something is wrong with what it "thinks" is the stock one. It will probably run like garbage for one thing.

Don't change MAF or Injector sizing without re calibrating your tune to work with them. There will be no upside.
