    Weird turn signal problem

    Hey guys, I just installed new headlights (Depo 2-piece projectors) and for the most part they were plug-n-play with the exception of the low beam (they were set up for hids so I had to cut the connector off my old headlights and put them on my new ones). Both low and high beams work fine, but when the headlights are turned on (one click or two, including highbeams) both turn signal icons on my dash light up (solid) and all the turn signals turn on. When the headlights are off the turn signals and hazards work fine. I'm really confused how this could be possible since they were plug and play. If you have any insight please help me out!

    Is it maybe an 'error code' kinda like how the turn signals blink really fast when a bulb is out?

    Have something wired wrong.

    Thats not an error code, its a side effect of a blown bulb/open circuit

    But I didn't wire anything except the low beam, and the turn signals are seperate from the headlight anyway so how could that affect the turn signal? I used the same turn signal bulbs and connector in the new housing

    You parking light circuit is bridged to the turn signals. My guess would be that it is in or around the front turn signal bulbs/bulb-holders/connectors.

    That would be in the turn signal wiring correct? Because I didn't touch that, I literally took the out bulb out, put a new bulb in and just put it in the housing (exactly like the old one just clear). So I don't know how they would have been bridged on both sides; or even one side for that matter. The headlamp connectors plugged right into the new headlamps so wiring was necessary there either

    Are you using a single filament bulb in a dual filament bulb holder? Or maybe the other way around? Because that's what it sounds like to me.

    Yep, I was trying to use single and I need dual. Thanks for the help! Now I just need to get ecstuning to fix my order since they sent me single filament
