A few VAG-COM mods that are not working on my B8 A5

I did the following VAG-COM mods on my 2012 A5 Prestige (B8), that all work fine:

- Enable hidden menu
- Dim LED strip on turn signal (side markers disabled)
- Keep fogs active with high beam
- Disable lights on warning
- Enable battery meter
- Enable show gear selection in DIS

I'm having problems with the following settings though:
1. Ambient lighting control through hidden menu (set to '5' and Enabled) worked for a while, but after my car got back from service at the dealer today, this no longer works. It shows up as a greyed out menu item. I tried to first set to factory settings, and then back to enabled, but no dice.
2. I enabled fog lights on cornering, but fog lights do not come on while making a sharp slow turn.

Found the problem with number 1...needed a VCDS code change as well. Still looking for an answer to number 2 though. Has anyone been able to get this to work on a B8 A5?

For #1, grayed out menu item, ambient lighting, it's grayed out for me but what does it do anyway? It's not like we have a bunch of LEDs secreted around the interior.

Think i wanna try - Dim LED strip on turn signal (side markers disabled) whn i get my ecodes installed. Anyone else have this done. How ya like it?

I hated the wink, so was glad to find the setting to turn off the wink. But dimming is better, as it makes the orange indicator light more visible. Best of both worlds. I don't mind that it completely disables the sidemarkers. They are an eyesore anywAy.

I've done the dim and I like it. You really can't tell unless your looking for it, but then it becomes apparent. Did it on both our B8's.

Haha yea. But if you buy ecodes def no more orange sidemarker ;)
