    Buying a K04 whats the diff? APR vs ECS

    Only one company that makes a legit K04 and thats Borgwarner. APR/ECS/CTSTurbo etc...all use the Borgwarner K04.

    The K04 you would get from us is the same K04 that is used in APR's kit. It's a Genuine Borg Warner unit, no software, installation kit, or injectors are included (unless otherwise noted).

    a performance shop guy told me the K04 from APR is modified to be an exact fit for the b6 a4 and that the Borg Warner K04 would be different in terms of fitting lines. That is why I ask. Didn't sound right but he sounded so confident I didn't want to start an argument over it. Perhaps he was attempting to make a sale.

    K04-15 is an exact fit regardless of who sells it. Even the Chinese units have the same fittings, mounting, gaskets, etc...
    Would be kind of dumb if that wasn't the case.
