    Deatschwerks DW300 Fuel Pump

Does anyone know the specific part number for the Deatschwerks FP that will fit a 01.5 B5S4? There's a universal kit part number 9-301-1000, but have read that the socks doesn't fit and causes the car to run lean. TIA.

I used the universal sock, you just have to make sure not to pinch it when you drop the basket back in.

I have that pump/part number. It is not a direct fit but can be made to work. There is a thread on this pump for our cars somewhere...but basically you have to put a hose clamp on to keep it from dropping too low in the tank and use some orings on the body since it is slightly smaller in diameter.

I've been searching for a circular sock similar to the stock sock as well. I ordered one but the inlet was too large.

Here is a pretty good write-up in the install.

    Thanks for the responses guys.

That's the DIY write up I was going to use. The sock is the most problematic part of my search since only VAST supplied the correct one.

What is the diameter of the DW300 inlet? I could machine an adapter to fit the stock sock to the DW pump.

Do you guys think the FP model 9-301s-1005 will work for our car? The fuel sock seems to resemble ours better than the universal sock.

I have tried emailing them numerous amounts of time and called both of their numbers but haven't received a response.

    Thanks.

It would depend which way to sits...the fuel pick up of the pump is off center...and that fuel sock fits on it a certain way and probably can not be rotated.

When I installed mine I found one that fit at advanced auto, I meant to post the part number when I did it but never did.

Thanks for the tip. I was just thinking about the original FP which was centered if I remember correctly. I need to go look at my spare.

Do you still have the part number or do you remember how it looks like? Was the sock a direct fit or did you have to modify it to fit?
