Rear Valance

Im looking to replace my rear valance on my 2013 Avant and am undecided between the S4 or 3.0TDI.

there is about £100 difference between the 2 but for the S4 valance the silver strip is £100 alone. I was wondering if this silver part is necessary and if i don't have it will the fixings be visible on the valance?

Any pics you guys have of both with aftermarket exhausts would be appreciated too. Ive seen a couple users have the S4 valance in black which looks really nice so i am currently swaying toward that option.

do you have the stock or the s-line rear bumper? and you have the stock avant dual exhaust?

for the S4 valance you'll need to have the s-line rear bumper. and if you have the S4 valance without the silver piece there will just be a blank area there with clips showing, wont' really look that good, it's not just a silver cover but an actual piece. also if you do get the S4 one the openings are wider so you'll need to run quad tips or it will look weird with those empty gaps. if you do get the S4 then yeah i think a gloss black with the silver strip will look nice.

the 3.0TDI might also require the s-line, not sure, they might have a non-sline version but not sure that will look as good or worth the upgrade.

also you can always get the ebay S4 style replica valances, they fit non-sline, and they might have for s-lines too, and it has a painted silver strip in the middle, not aluminum like the OEM one but it looks pretty close and way cheaper. but i've only seen them for the B8, not the facelift so you'd have to check, but im sure there are some other options if you still wanna go the cheaper ebay route.
