    f21 inlet troubleshooting

So the other day I was trying to track down a boost leak with a smoke test and its just pouring smoke out my inlet side on my passenger turbo. I've got f21's with frankens inlets everything seems to be sealed pretty tight I'm gonna go back in the next few days to double check and see if I can't put it back together any tighter. Does anybody have any sort of advice to try and make sure that sealed as proper as I can get it?

If they were the unpolished ones, they pretty much come "in the raw". Final fit and finish is for you to do.
They need to be fit up, then deburred, and I like to radius and polish the the turbo end so it slips over the oring and seals well.
They can usually be just thrown on, but things like this you really need to put some forethought into because the day will prob come where you will need to work on them in the car. Do everything you can to make sure they dont cut the oring when sliding back on.
There are only 2 things needed to make an Audi work properly - Duct tape and WD40. If it moves and it shouldn't - Duct tape. If it doesn’t move and it should - WD40.
