    Bumper support replacement

I'm replacing a bumper support tomorrow. Is there any reason that I can't use bolts instead of rivets, like perhaps a clearance issue? I've got tons of bolts and nuts in my scrounge I can use, but no rivet gun laying around.

First, you will need an heavy duty rivet gun to install the OEM rivet. Don't even try with a regular hand pliers.
You can use screws but it will be a little struggle to install the nuts, especially the inner ones

As long as there's no fitment issues if I use bolts, then that's what I'm going to do. I just wanted to make sure using them wouldn't cause issues when I went to put the bumper cover back on. Thanks, Phil.

Nah, nut will be inside the crash bar and bolt head on top, no issues
Use large washers under the bolt head to protect the plastic

Yup, will do! I'm going to use a nylock nut to secure it - that should keep everything tight.
