the airbag is different...harness and shape of airbag is different too

if you have rs4 wheel, rs4 air bag you need rs4 airbag harness

Different airbag, any B6 airbag from a three spoke wheel will work however. Your best bet is from a B6 A4, found mine very cheap.

yea seems a b6 one is needed

is the b5 rs4 wheel fatter than our stock one?? or really the same size?

i wanted to put a VW MK4 R32 wheel on and thought the MK1 TT airbag would fit it but i found out it doesn't fit the r32 wheel so :(

Feels pretty similar, alcantara may be a bit thicker, I haven't had an air leather one so I don't know, but my alcantara is great.

Ok, I bought the harness and plugged everything in. And my horn doesn't work? Anyone got a picture of there wiring? Don't know if I did the wiring right. I had to cut one of the black wired connectors to install a smaller connector. To connect it to the back of the steering wheel. Here is a picture of my wiring. I installed my old steering wheel and the horn works. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just picked up an rs4 wheel and b6 a4 airbag. I have the harness from ecs but I'm not sure how to run it either.

Here's a picture of the b6 airbag, this is how I got it. Maybe that's why your horn doesn't work.

Thanks for the picture of your setup Daler08. I have that wire in your picture. I guess I need to re-attach it to the steering wheel. That means I'm going to have one left over black connector on the RS4 connector...Hummm...

That's the wrong harness you got there, but you can just cut one of the horn wires off.
The horn wires are the ones right next to the airbag wires.
The ground wire (the one on your airbag) should be connected to the male pin at 3 O'clock.

Unfortunately, the RS4 wheel is slightly thinner. The air leather makes up for it though.
Buy my B5 S4 Body panels!
