Need help identifying unconnected wires

Bought this car recently and am only now diving into some of the problems and questions I have. WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING HERE.

Those are your pre and post cat O2 sensor connectors. If Im not mistaken, black should be before the cat and brown after the cat.

So in other words, those should not be unplugged? Haha

Clean those with electrical parts cleaner before hooking back up. They don't look to be i the best of cleanliness.
