3 beeps when driving

hey guys i have a 01 advant 1.8t and last night when driving home i heard 3 beeps off and on the whole way home. Just wondering if anybody mite know what it mite be ? New to the audi world

Any warning lights in the cluster? 3 beeps doesn't say much but there should be a warning light or an icon in the information display/

The pixels are gone in my information display, so i need to get another cluster. im thinking it mite be oil but im not sure

get your car scanned. Check your oil and your coolant. when those are low the car beeps.

Check your brake fluid as well. That one also gets 3 beeps.

When the abs fails, you can also get the 3 beeps.
edit: Never mind, he would see the brake icons.

Oil pressure is an option as well.

Oil pressure along with brake fluid have their own lights out of the lcd screen. With brake fluid, the brake light comes on. Same one for the e brake. And oil pressure is the red light of death because it is red and like the brake light. Can't recall what is says. Might just say oil in red with 3 beeps.

What about the speed sensor that you set in the cluster, how many times does it beep? Check your washer fluid, this also beeps.

Washer fluid, low fuel, etc are 1 beep items.

3 beeps are the critical things: brakes and oil pressure.

The 3 beeps are telling you to STOP THE CAR immediately. The 3 Beeps do not fart around. The 3 beeps mean business.

Thanks for all your help, it was the coolent. Next fix is going to be figuring out why my fogs dont come on with my lights

As in they won't work once you turn on your headlights? Are they working as a day time running?

Just a bit unclear as mine don't stay on when I turn on the headlights until I press the fog light button. I would bet it it's something super simple if that's the case.
