Question Oil Pressure and Coolant lights on dash, no beeping.

Hey guys, new lurker/new user here . Searched around the forum before making this post but couldn't find any answers.

I'll try to keep my story short. I was driving around yesterday night and just as I was parking, the low oil sensor came on. I checked it this morning and it was right on the min. After putting the dipstick back in, the warning didn't pop up so I just drove the car to work and didn't experience any problems. The warning came up again eventually, this time with the low coolant light.

I picked up some Lubro Moly, some coolant. The coolant was indeed low, so I filled that up just enough. I poured in some oil as well, not too much. Checked the dipstick and I was good to go. Drove around for a bit, none of the lights came up. After 10 minutes or so I pressed the check button at a red light, and the coolant symbol appeared again, and this time the oil pressure symbol appeared, and then it flashed to "OK".

Note, none of these appeared with the usual annoying beeping and flashes like if I was low on gasoline or low on oil, like it did yesterday. It only appeared when I pressed the check button. It's made me quite nervous as to what's going on.

The car drove home fine, no weird engine noises or anything. I kept checking it to see if it would go away, it didn't. Once again, no beeps or anything. It would only notify me if I pressed the check button. Got home and checked to see if I was losing coolant or oil, I wasn't.

I'm unsure of what to do here. It was pretty cold today and I did read that these could lead to the oil pressure sensor going off. If anyone could give any insight, I'd greatly appreciate it. As I'm most likely going to end up taking it to Audi to see what's up if it's still the same tomorrow morning.

When you press that button it goes through a bunch of things (more on the colour screen afaik) to show you that everything is okay. If there were an issue with oil pressure, it would pop up with out hitting check!

    Don't panic.
