    Oh no :(

I've only had this car since October. Wasn't paying attention enough and had a slight rear-end accident. Everyone is okay and his Volvo SUV appeared undamaged.

My car got a bit of a boo-boo and needs a new hood/grill. Bumper looks O.K. but will need a fresh coat of paint. Internal parts appear to be undamaged. Still drives straight, no leaks (other than a slight oil leak that I've had since I got the car. I think the driver side cam seal?) Do you guys have any ideas on where I should look for a new hood? I see that ecstuning has them for $700 but there has to be better alternatives to that.

Sorry if this post is dumb, first time poster.

For a hood, call some local junkyards. Your from CT, we have a dozen or so decent ones around us. You'll probably get lucky and find a silver one too, they are fairly common.

A 4.2 hood may work as well, check your part numbers. Will open up the search a bit.

Hood, fenders, bumpers and windshield (and possibly other parts) are NOT interchangeable between the 3.0/2.7 V6 cars and the 4.2 V8 cars ...
