I have recently tried to swap the halogen headlights to The premium plus hid on my Q5.
The headlights have been swapped with the right cables, although the ups cables are yet to be correctly connected.
I have several major issues.
The first one is vag-com. I went to Matrix in Portland and although J was super friendly, we said that the menus for enabling the xenon are not showing up. I asked if he could manually input the code, and he said that no, if the menus are not shown for selection, it can't.
So right now, my xenon a are sometimes working and the daylight LED are not working at all.
Please see attached on how the vag is setup.
Any guidance on how to setup the vag properly on this Q5 2011 will be highly appreciated...!
Next issue is, since the headlights were swapped, I have parking brake and airbag errors when I start the car and it remains until the end. We tried to clear up the error with Vag, but it keeps coming back....
At this point I am wondering if I should go back to swap everything again.... But I seem to be so close that i wanted to ask for your expertise before I do anything else.
