Looking to buy a car in Hawaii / Honolulu

Hello Everyone! I am new to the forum. I have been looking for an A4 for a while and finally found the one I want. Since I live in California, I was wondering what was the best method to get the car checked out. I found a couple shops looking around through the forums that I thought could inspect the car for me and send pictures and a detailed report of the car's condition. The shops are Wrench Werks and Taivw. It seems that Taivw has a very good reputation but it is 30 min from the dealership which has the car and Wrench Werks is fairly close but the reviews are not as good. Would you recommend any other shop in the Honolulu area? Would you recommend any shipping companies if I do end up buying the car.?

I'd recommend Tai VW. Been taking my B7 A4 to him since I moved here in 2008. Car never gave me any problems at all.

Thomas at Tai is the guy to go to for all your needs. Straight to the point, no BS guy. He knows his cars inside and out. I've been taking my A4 to him.

+1 for TaiVW. He once drove 30 min out of the way because the oil filter on my A4 was seized and the wrench I had didn't help. He cracked it and finished my oil change on the spot.
