I work for westagate resort selling timeshare, over there in miami theres only one westgate resort its by collins ave i think an its always full,while here in orlando, kissimmee theres 4 westgate resorts and ae huge so thats why there not providing me with a stay an it has to go through them not any other hotel. sucks i know.

$100 / night in Miami? Check Fortune House on Brickell or furnished corporate apartments. Hopefully you aren't going now in peak season. You may find something ok in the summer if you book for the whole month.

Honestly this whole scenario is very confusing. Did you even have a conversation with your employer about the distance between where you live and where they want you to be? This is basically a work imposed relocation and at the least they should be putting you up somewhere. The fact that you're basically taking it up the ass empowers your bosses to screw you whenever they want. Either you stand up for yourself or turn in your man card. This is inexcusable but I feel like we're missing a LOT of facts

There are a couple of hotels right on 154th and around 80/night.
Check out Don Shula's. You never know and may get good rate.

You can check places off I-75 in Miramar and Pembroke Pines too. They aren't too far from Miami Lakes.

As a former person that used to live in Miami for 5yrs, airbnb is ur best bet at the price you are looking for. Look for nice rooms around Coral Gables , Pembroke Pines or north bay village. These are expensive real estate places ( not über ultra rich) but you should find decent rooms for rent from non crazy people (I think it's a safe bet anyway). I used to live in Sunset ( in front of university of miami) and there are plenty of fairly safe nice places BUT they are expensive.

Just my 02 cents.......

Also u would be driving AGAINST traffic ( south to north) as oppose to with traffic ( north to south)

^ Palmetto (826) in any direction is a tough ride these days if you need to pass by 836. Major road construction and 826 can get pretty backed up. 836 itself is a disaster between the airport and 87th Ave. The ride north on U.S. 1 to I-95 can also be very slow (and a fairly long ride). I'd probably stay north and not stray too far away. I lived in Miami for 15+ years and have been driving into it for 12 since leaving and it gets worse every year it seems. This is a tough time of year to find reasonable hotel rates and traffic is at its worst with seasonal residents and school in session.
