    Air Bag to Coilover Conversion

This is probably a topic that has been beaten to death but looking for some quick answers as the AR is already in the shop waiting for direction. Any suggestions on what coilover kits that are applicable to the C5 AR platform? Looking for decent performance but not trying to break the bank. Options around or under 2K is my budget.

    Thanks in advance!

Are you intent on going static coils (airbags or compressor shot) or also considering other (Arnott, perhaps) options?

    What happened to your rs4?

St coils are the most inexpensive.

Ideally you want to do a6 uprights, top hats, and lca's. When I went static I originally I used all allroad parts but had "clunking", when I switched to a6 parts everything fixed itself. For what it's worth I'm on a6 sport suspension and the car is pretty damn low for an a6 and the ride quality is excellent. Handling is fine, and somewhat sporty with h-sport sway bars. Not pss9 handling, but fine for me.

Intent is to go static as I dont want to deal with the airbags in the future. Currently checking out the ST and KW varients as options. Looking for a quick purchase so I can get my AR moving.

Dre - I got into an accident and the RS is gone. Pretty sad about it but at least im alive. Plans are to chill for a few years on a hopped up AR and then go big boy build on another platform. I'll take a look into the A6 sports suspension route as well. Got some awesome quotes for ST and KW set ups though but maybe im just still in price shock from the RS land of pricing.

Thanks for the feedback thus far guys! Keep them coming!
