Front bumper w/headlight washer vs one without

Guys I need to figure this out. I need to replace my front bumper cover. It does not have headlight washers. I found a bumper locally that does have headlight washers. Would I run into a problem swapping for it as far as fitment goes? I don't care if it has the cutouts, I won't use the washers anyway. Thanks.

If you need to repaint the bumper, i boutght the bumper and the headlight washers covers and asked the painter to make them dissapear... it worked ;)

Yeah it will be repainted, I was just wondering if one with washer covers can fit my car which doesn't have them.

Yes, but nothing will hold the covers since you don't have the system.

You could probably put some glue, something

I don't think that is entirely true. I have the cutouts for headlight washers, but don't have any washers installed.

Tell the body guy you want them molded. If you notice, you see an indentation around the covers (obviously, hence the fact they separate from the bumper)

I did body/paint work for years as a "kid". It's as easy as filling the ridge with bondo and sanding smooth. It will look a lot cleaner too ;)

Wow I totally forgot about filing them in. Just figured I would leave them that way. Ok so as long as its a direct fit, it doesn't matter.

I guess my ''tell your bodywork guy to make them dissapear'' was not clear ;)

As I said, ask him to put the plasti covers in there, they glue them there and the use filler/bondo to fill the holes, then sand it, then paint it :)

This is exactly what happened to me.

If you don't want to waste money on the filling/sanding part, once they are painted, put them in the holes and glue them there with silicone.

You will save money for sure since they don't have to fill/sand them and nobody will be able to tell.

Sorry, just was first looking for a yes on if both bumpers have the same attachment points, didn't really think about the filling part right away. Also, could you post some pics of your ride, thanks. I just got this Arctic white 06 avant with the same exact packages as yours.

Not hard, expensive to buy them from Poland modified and the leds died twice.

Just got them back from UK fixed with new generation leds... crossing fingers
