    Is GIAC the only software tuner with DSG (S-Tronic) upgrades?

    Giac is the first and only one to have the DSG tune, APR is working on their DSG tune

    What is the effect on gas mileage of this tune? Will it effect CA smog certification?

    Given the same driving style, there will be no I'll effects on gas mileage. Drive mode uses similar shift points to stock, thus allowing you to maintain fuel economy.

    It will not affect CA smog in any way.

    Will it hold the gear in manual mode until driver shifts, even if it's hitting the redline?

    No, for safety it will still shift automatically at redline.
