    School me on brakes

SO ... I just bought a 2010 Audi A4 a week ago this past Sunday. MY FIRST AUDI! =). I found out when it it went in for oil consumption 1 that the front brakes are nearly shot. Unfortunately the company I work for doesn't make brakes for our cars so I'm going to see if I can push the R&D department to make me some brackets and hats. That being said I need to know if anybody knew offhand what the bolt spacing is on the caliper carrier and what size bolt it is.

At some point after re-reading the forum rules I'm going to see if I can make a thread to gather interest so that I can show the R&D guys that there are X people interested and obviously the more people the better. That brings me to my next question. If a kit were developed for the B8 platform what cars would that one kit fit? I'm assuming the A4/S4 and their variants and the A5/S5 and their variants. RS5 maybe? Q5/SQ5?

    Thanks!

2010 Audi A4 2.0T Premium with manual, 18" sport package and bluetooth/homelink. Oh yes. It's also an oil drinker!

Nice to see interest in brakes, there's plenty of great kits available with the comprehensive R&D already completed. Brake components for the B8 platform are transferable in many cases. We offer the newest BBKs made available for B8/B8.5 vehicles. Take a look at our Alcon 375x32 & 396x32 Mono6 kits here, and let me know if you have any questions.

PS- congrats on your new ride!
