    Key Fob Faulty Battery Warning

I had the battery replace in the key fob a couple months ago so I know that the "low battery" alarm and warning message on the dashboard can't be correct.

The warning is triggered whenever a passenger exits from the front seat while the engine is running. Also the alarm sounds when driving with the windows lowered.

Has anyone run into a similar problem? Can I correct this issue myself or does this require a trip to the dealer maintenance?

I think the low battery refers to your actual car battery and not the key fob.

How old is your car? My car battery failed the load test right at 4 years.
