Forge Hybrid DV and belt tensonier question

I was under my hood yesterday and i was looking at my DVs, they are forge hybrid DV/BOVs and the passenger side Dv is facing the back of the car, which doesnt seem right, anyone have a clue they came on the car this way. You can see the passenger side cone face backwards. There is also a little oil sprayed on the drivers side DV and i cant find where its from. Also i was scoping out my next project which is my belt tensioner and i hear people saying they replace it with only the hood up which seems crazy to me because i cant get my hand down six inches. So does anyone have a good diy to get the car into service postion just far enough to get room? i couldnt find any good articles, thanks

It is hard to tell, but is there a T-fitting in the vac line going from each DV? And the reason they are opposite is they are only made one way, so are rotated 180 deg of each other.

they seem to be installed backwards. Piston type valve may be able to work even installed backward, but depending on the boost level and spring, may leak boost under acceleration.

Maybe its just me, but I can't see crap in those pics. If you could take better pics we can probably help more. And so you are saying there is a T-fitting in the vac line that then goes to a vac source. I only ask because I can't see one in the pick, I realize it has nothing to do with your original question.
