auto adjust seats not working

So was cleaning the car the other day, had my seats all they way back to work on the mats and make it easier to remove them and when I went to push number 1 on the door to move the seat back to my position, nothing happens (and no, the OFF button is not on), so I start up the car, get in and hit 1 again, nothing. I think the memory setting was erased so I hold set down for a few seconds after adjusting my seat so that I can add it to memory again and nothing, no beep, like usual. Anyone else had this issue?

No, B8s had it on the Prestige trim. My 2010 Prem+ did not have memory seats. 2014 P+ does.

I am having the same problem and didn't see anything in the fuse box related to seats.

Can you run a vagcom scan, there should be an ecu for memory seats? Or one of the body control modules. You could also try the second key.

sounds like seat motor might have lost there memory when you moved them. run seat motor to max stop. so run it all the way forward, backwards, up, down and till to all max position. mine did that and i ran this and it started working again.

Tried second key, can't find a fuse related to seats. I know it's probably not a fuse as I can push one of the buttons while using the seat adjustments and it interrupts it from moving, and the light comes on for the off button when I push it. You have to hold the number button if the door is closed, and just tap it if the door is open. B8 and 8.5 are exactly the same as far as I know. So think I will try the max settings and see if that forces it to work again. Thanks for the suggestions.

EDIT: Thanks dpeturboa4, that fixed it. Moved seat all the way back, forward, up down, tilt both ways, lumber and when I pushed "set" the light went on....yeah!
