No Start No Spark No Fuel, please help!

Platform: Audi b6 A4 1.8TQTip So yesterday I'm in my car, turn for car on, put it in reverse, go back 7 inches lol and the car dies, try to start and no start so I automatically think it's the fuel pump being that the car has 113K miles with the original fuel pump. Ordered a new fuel pump but got the wrong one because of the 2005 VIN split with has different pumps so while the original pump was out I decided to test it so I ran it to a 12V source and the pump works like new so now I'm confused so I put the original pump back in, I change the fuel filter then I go to check for a spark.... No spark and now the fuel gauge on the cluster doesn't even move. Next thing I do is replaced the Crank Position Sensor, note:I've spent over $350 and the car still isn't starting. Changed the CPS and still no start so I do a little bit more research and now I'm at the point that the ECU is fried which is mind boggling because it just died out of no where but I notice when I turn the key no "check engine" light appears, I'm still waiting to get my VAGCOM cable but I'm at a lost and I need this car running ASAP. Can someone help and please advice if I should buy an ECU or not. I'm aware if I buy the ECU I will have to get the immobilized swapped. Please help.

Have you tested all of your engine management fuses in the fuse box? I believe there is about four of them.

from my experience, check your main fuse which is right off the battery. See if it is melted/blown. Mine was and the car had nothing. 5 bucks later and a quick change, car is back up and has been since. Sorry your car is having a problem and i hope its not your ECU

You guys are awesome, idk why I didn't do that at first but sure enough it was one of the engine management fuses. Changed it out, and it fired right up. Thanks a lot

Awesome! Glad to hear that fixed the problem. You might want to check your coil pack harnesses and make sure they're not cracking leaving wires exposed. When I was shorting out engine management fuses the wires were frayed, making contact with each other, causing the fuses to pop.

Yes my engine harness is doomed to hell. Bare wires are everywhere, cracked connectors, the works. I'm currently looking for a new harness but I'm not trying to pay 1K for one. I found one for $250 but had to send it back because it was for a 6 speed.
