I have asked for advice and was told that if using a pressure washer foamer or a foamer that does not use pressure, that you still should have another soap bucket with a grit guard and another rinse bucket with a grit guard. I am actually considering getting the gilmore non pressure washer required foamer.
I know that ideally you would do it this way (foam, soap bucket, rinse bucket). My question is, what if you foamed the car up, let it sit. Used the proper mitt to wipe sections and used just the rinse bucket as usual (bypassing the soap bucket in this process)
I totally get that it is more safe to use the soap bucket, but my question, is how bad would it be to not use it?
Just trying to avoid a step that seems redundant to me (foaming your car, then re washing it with soap, even though soap is all over it) and if there is not that much difference, that would be great.
