    Issues with Remote Windows Up/Down

So I coded my car to roll up and down the windows with the key fob about a month ago with a program called VAS-PC if anyone is familiar with that, I've had no issues with it whatsoever. But today I tried using the feature and now it is not working at all. This whole coding thing is very new to me and I can't for the life of me figure out why the feature no longer works. The only thing I know I've done within the last two days was put a new battery into my key fob, I don't think this would cause me to lose this feature but then again I could be completely wrong. I do know when i switched the battery I wasn't able to use the key fob until I used it in my ignition and then it was good to go again. If anyone can shed light on this it would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Nick

Try putting key into ignition, turning on ignition and press buttons a couple times. Then manually roll down each window all the way down and then back up. I had similar problem after switching from a B6 to B7 remote. Couldn't understand it either because I swapped in the old chip.

If not then u may have to use VCDS to check the settings

Well I'm not sure where the issue was, but I did exactly what you said I was having issues with opening and closing the windows physically at the door lock as well. But after rolling my windows fully up and fully down a couple times and cycling the key they are back in working order! Thanks for the tips/trick!
