Button Dilemma

Ok so, I just recently got VAGCOM, and I changed a couple of things on my 2010 A4, like disabling the seatbelt chime and the needle sweep. But I have a bit of an issue...

I've also enabled lap timer and speedometer on the middle display, but my wiper stalk doesn't have the button rocker at its end. Is there any way in VAGCOM to assign those functions to the mode button instead (or the voice button, I don't know what that can be used for.)

My mode button is pretty much useless right now. It just switches between miles to empty, Aux mode (which doesn't allow me to do anything) and Bluetooth phone mode... I can't even see my mph in the display.

I hope one of you guys know something...

My button is on the bottom of the stalk. I honestly didn't know it existed until a friend of mine pointed it out.

Some folks don't have the button on the bottom as the op said.

Op- I think you need to enable the menu in the radio or mmi to see the features in the "car" menu.

Actually he said he didn't have the button on the end. I took that to mean at the far end of the stalk, not the bottom or top. Just providing my experience to help as I didn't even know there was a button on the bottom of the stalk. Anyways, good luck OP.

I got all of the functions... and this was with cannibalizing a different stalk (see post #66 in that thread).

Just saw that my links were broken. I have fixed them. Please check back on that post. That post assumes you know how to take your steering wheel off and remove the old stalk. There are threads on here for that as well. Let me know if you need a pointer to one.
