    help finding some parts for partial b&o retrofit

    Hi folks,
    Can anyone help? I'm retrofitting the front of my car with the b&o system. I'm looking for 2 things;
    First is the b&o microphone courtesy light unit in black.
    Second are adapters for the speaker connections, I'd rather not have to butcher the factory wiring.
    Anyone able to point me in the right direction or anyone who has an aftermarket install in place of their b&o who would do me a part exchange?

    Marc

    Speaker connectors are the same. The door tweeters are run by the amp, so you'd need to run wires all the way from the amp to the tweeters. You probably get a fault code for the missing rear speakers as well.

    The interior light is the same, so you only need the B&O microphone. That is, unless you're also swapping to a black light unit at the same time.

    Seriously I don't think it's worth the money. You can better sound for less than retrofitting.

    I started down this route, I've changed out the sub for a high quality one with its own amplifier, the back door speakers have also been changed out for good quality aftermarket ones.
    I had started getting parts together for the front buy I changed my mind for a couple of reasons.

    I didn't fancy having another big amplifier in the back of the car, had trouble finding speakers that would fit and I picked up set of front b&o speakers and amplifier for next to nothing. I think with the mods I've already done it will sound good enough for me.
    The sound from the 3g mmi radio/amplifier unit isn't great at all.

    Thanks, the Dash speaker connections are different, the non b&o has 2 dash tweeters and one mid, the b&o is the reverse of this. Do you have any idea what the part number is for the b&o mic? I'm struggling to find one.
