I've been constantly tempted to get these wheels. I wish they had a little more concavity to the face, maybe in a 19x9 et35 spec similar to the OEM A5/S5 wheels. IMO these wheels look best on a car with low ride height such as yours. Nice choice, and agreed on the above comment regarding Supercharged badges. They would really complete the OEM+ look in my opinion.

Not rubbing in the rear, but I can rub in the front when taking a fast and aggressive right turn on a horribly messed up road (rough with big dips).

I resited the supercharged badges at first, but finally gave in, they do make the side of the car look less plain, love them!

lol, I've been drooling over these wheels since I saw them on a B7 RS4, not sure why I went with the Ace Convex wheels at first versus these in 20", but I was always constantly tempted to get these wheels too. Then finally I got an excuse to replace my wheels without feeling like I'm wasting money, and jumped on them.

That would be nice, the lack of concavity we can have on the S4's and be low at the same time without stretching the tires is a bummer for sure, the A5/S5's have it nice!

My OCD finally got the best of me. The weave and finish is close, but still different from OEM, so it doesn't match as good as I would prefer. Also, since the beginning the finish and fitment wasn't at least OEM quality. If you look at it long enough you start to see there are pits/divots in the clear coat, the fitment around the driver's side vent is not that great, and when it gets really hot in the summer, the edges around the gauges start to point outwards, so it's off. The weave pattern is near perfect though, and if the rest of the carbon fiber bits matched better, it wouldn't be as bad.

Maybe a wrap, ecodes, and moar low... probably keep it 3 more years. Almost at 50k miles now.

That's not bad mileage at all. A wrap would be cool but annoying on a daily driver IMO. My wrapped hood looked pretty messed up from the few months I had it on.

What an interesting read buddy, thanks for making my first hour at work today enjoyable! Too bad those Brembos didn't work out but that's generally the issue when going performance over stock is what are you willing to sacrifice.

    ^^ thanks!

I thought this was a cool picture. Lots to see in this picture of the driver's side front: Bilstein PSS10 coilover, set to '7', EuroCode sway bar set on the less stiff hole, EuroCode end-link, ECS stainless steel brake line, and SPC Adjustable Control Arm.

So I got my stage 1 done at eurocode. I need some opinions if anyone would indulge me. Should I do the exhaust next or flash the TCU? I don't plan to go stage 2 for now. I would love and respect any opinion and advice. Or is there something else I should do first? I can only sneak a grand or two by the wife every so often so I would like to the best bang for the buck first.

I would do a TCU tune if you're looking for performance but an exhaust if you're looking for a great sound out of your car.

my preferred mod order: low, noise, speed, which means, I'd go exhuast before TCU. everyone's different though.

Will, you may have spoken to this already but I am considering Bilstein pss10's. Are adjustable control arms a necessity or is that just because of the set up you have chosen height wise?

I've read on here that they are not needed if you don't lower more than an inch.

255/35/19, its a 8.5" wheel, so no stretch and it's not too meaty.

    I really loved this look:

If you went with 20's in this setup, would that resolve the load issue?

those were 20's, 19's would have been fine, but these wheels don't look that great in 19" imho. What you need to find is a "96" load rating (1565lbs per tire) that will fit. 245/30 tires are what fit with my preferred drop and the offset of those wheels, the load rating was just "90" (1323lbs per tire).

Very Beautiful job on your car well done. Im currently looking for help with the 3.0 engine as mine needs possible rings in cylinder 5 and valve job. So next week it will start with leak test to help with starting point, but prolly coming apart. I was wondering if I need to get to piston in cylinder 5 if engine has to come completely out, or if I could get to it from under through the oil pan to save lots of time???

The JHM brake rotors were perfect, even when worn past minimum thickness, but I opted for a lower cost option this time around since this is my commute only car now. This is StopTech’s Street Performance Axle Pack Service Kit.

A bit heavier than the lightweight JHM’s, but looks great. Nice painted hats and edges, should age well.
