So the car is going in a different direction, I made two mistakes:

I shouldn't have gotten 20 inch wheels since there are not tires that will fit with the proper load rating and the ride is pretty crappy after a while which starts to wear on you. Of course I didn't know about the load rating issue when I got the setup, and of course the place where I ordered the wheels+tries from didn't mention it. Two of my PSS tires went out on the freeway on two separate occasions leaking from where the sidewall and wheel meet, which makes me think they couldn't handle the load stress over time, at least not long enough to use the full tread, and I'm realizing its more of a safety issue that I was willing to admit. It wasn't a blow out after hitting any potholes, probably just the normal bumps over time. The tire shop chain I went to after the first flat wouldn't even touch my car due to the load rating issue.

I also shouldn't have gotten the 380mm Brembo GTs since they do not fit with the peelers, the inner barrel's diameter is just too small by a few millimeters, they ever so lightly rubbed when I backed up, leaving a tiny bit of paint transfer. Wheel was properly mounted, flush, and torqued to spec. Maybe there are some 19s out there with a slightly larger inner barrel diameter that would work, but its becoming a pain in butt, so I'm taking them off.

After the Brembo's come off, the OEM calipers with JHM 2-piece rotors and OEM pads are going on, matching the rear. I'll run the peelers with 8mm spacers (ET35) for a month or so until the wheels I want are in stock and arrive, I'm going for more of a OEM+ look by getting the Hartmann B7 RS4 Replicas.

I think this will keep the car looking good, make it less of a pain to maintain, and be good enough for the occasional canyon carving.

If I were to do it again I would have stuck with 19s and got 365mm RS5s.

Looking to sell my BBK and give away my wheels. They are slightly bent, no vibrations, the bend only slightly noticeable on the tire balancer machine while spinning, and two of them have a couple small nicks. Three of the tires have decent tread, one is flat! Local pickup only for the wheels. It might be a couple weeks before the BBK comes off.

Looking back through your thread, I'm really digging your boost gauge. I realize it probably doesn't give you as much info as the P3 gauge, but there's nothing sexier than an analog boost gauge, IMO.

BTW, is there a reason you prefer such incredibly deep DoF in your exterior shots? I prefer shallow and plenty of bokeh to isolate the subject (car), but to each their own, I suppose.

    Car looks awesome. :)

Thanks! I do like the analog look too and just want to know boost, so I went for style (personal style) over function. As for a deep DoF, I was trying to get more of the car as sharp as I could as I was losing detail when using a shallow DoF. I'm just a beginner though and I'm not really spending much time on it, I'd like to play around with settings more though, just no time right now. (a lot of these pixs are from my phone, I'm a little lazy too! lol.).

out with the old (Apikol Diff Mount, it did hold up quite well, just a little discolored):

... and in with the new (034Motorsport Rear Differential Mount and Rear Differential Carrier Mount):

There is less drive-train slack now, the car is more firmed up.

Finally here after I gave up trying to get PSS tires. Going for an OEM+ look these days, trying to avoid rubbing, stretch, and trying to keep the car low or go lower.

    19x8.5 ET38 Hartmann HRS4-252-GS (B7 RS4 Reps) with 255/35 Continental ContiSportContact 5P.

Nice packaging, no nicks or scratches, and I don't need to deal with a ton of cardboard afterwards:

In keeping with the OEM+ look, no stretch.

The hartmann center caps do look good:

... but I gotta sport the Audi ones (OEM+ remember!? ):

    ... and some swag:

Throwing the wheels on Sat, getting more pixs, then deciding if I'll add some spacers or not.

Awesome. I love the RS4 reps. How's the bite on the JHM rotors with stock pads? Thinking about this for when I'll need to replace brake rotors down the line.

With the setup I have right now, the initial bite is much less than OEM when the pads are cold and just a little less than OEM when the pads are warm. I really wasn't expecting that. It could be the OEM pad's formula changing due to everyone with squeaking brakes in the cold or the slotted rotors, or a little of both?

I made a cold start exhaust video for the S3 yesterday, so why not do one for the S4?

I absolutely love the way your car looks with those wheels. Did you ever add spacers? Or are they flush enough where you don't need them?

Thanks! I ended up not adding spacers, pushed 3mm out more would be nice, but it looked good enough and not worth dealing with spacers that small which are not hub-centric.

Beautiful wheels! I got the same set-up.

Are you rubbing in the back at all? I am during big bumps... getting an alignment this week per Achtuning's recommendation.
