Yes, you do have to loosen (but not remove) the T50 torx bolt of the main ribbed belt idler pulley to get the old belt off.

it's not a T50 ~! it's a 9mm triple square.. nearly stripped it due to this post.

the service manual does not indicate that the threads are left hand for the supercharger idler roller (red box on left) so it should be standard.
