Hey guys

Here is some progress although I don't really know if it qualifies as such without a turbo swap etc. Just wanted to say thanks to the community by sharing what i have done and will be doing to the car as most of it has come as a result of reading this website and learning about it through here.

I bought it stock from the local Audi in 2011 on New Years Eve with 35000km Brilliant Black 6 Manual Quattro with Symphony and no factory bluetooth

About two weeks later the car was stuttering and stalling out at idle ...took it to the dealer and they replaced the intake flap valve motor on the factory warranty, It was a 2300$ fix which spooked me into spending an extra 3650 on extended warranty...which i kind of regret now. Few months later, leaking from the oil cap, take it to the dealer, replaced the crankcase gasket ,and finally taking it to the dealer for a seat repair. Wish i had known about the site before all that, could have saved myself a lot of money!

If you regret buying the warranty, you should be able to sell back the remainder of it for a prorated portion of what you paid. I'd get any issues fixed before you do though.

I wish i had known this was an option a long time ago! Thanks for the heads up....at this point its up in march and i just got a dipped headlight code after putting in 6000k bulbs.... i guess im going to try and see if they will do anything for me. Hoping it isnt a ballast due to the bulbs >< If so.. osram xenarc d1s for me i guess.

Finally got to

Hartmann Euromesh 4-GA mounted and balanced with Michelin Pilot Super Sports
Blacked out front bumper deflectors,front grille badge, sidemarkers with orange bulbs and black rear door badges
Blacked out headlights, CC'd and put in OEM Chrome orange, USP led city light, autoillumination chrome white DRL and osram xenarc D1S \
034 Snub/Turbo inlet
A8 trunk rings

Ordered stoptech drilled front and rear rotors to go with my usp stainless steel lines, ate superblue,hawk hps pads and plan to paint and redecal my calipers satin gloss black as soon as the rotors show....its gonna be a great summer!

I believe you put your snub on backwards. Other then that good job on the headlights.
