New 2014 Ibis White Picked up Tonight

Back in an Audi after a brief hiatus. Fell in love with lowroad's white allroad on CH-Rs and couldn't stop thinking about it. I'm not planning on doing air suspension, but would love a just-barely-not-tucking look, so any suggestions would be appreciated. Here's a few blurry pics from before I brought her home. Premium Plus with MMI and B&O sound are the only options. Oh, and Dark Walnut inlays. I would have loved to get the sport interior, but my 'fun' car is an Evo X, so I wasn't too upset that I became impatient in picking up this particular allroad. Joined AZ with a B5 S4 and never really posted much, hope to be a part of the avant community here moving forward.

Congratulations. I have a 2013.... same exterior color, black leather with the layered-oak inlays.

It's a great vehicle ---- I love driving it everyday. Wish you nothing but many happy miles!!!!! Great choice!

Wow, I love the layered oak, that is the only picture I've seen of it. The online configurator made them look terrible so I never looked any further. Very nice.

Just ordered some Bilstein coilovers designed for A4, hope they fit! All signs point to yes.

Wheels and Coils installed, also did a Stasis exhaust installed at Stasis HQ. VERY happy with the car so far. Suspension is the Bilstein ridecontrol, dropped the button into the cig lighter spot, very clean. Super smooth on comfort, nice and tight on sport. It's a daily, so I went with Conti DWS tires for long wear. A bit of stretch, a bit of poke, sits very nicely.

Also picked up a nice camera to spread the love. Enjoy.

Damn, very nice... The Allroad is very tempting and my wife is interested in one vs. her '02 330i with winters on it. Does fine in the snow, ice is a challenge at times. She'll never sell her 330i and is still mad we got rid of her very clean E30 10 years ago after an accident.

Did the suspension and bigger tires tighten up the steering any? I have driven several B8's and Allroads as Service Loaners and it's the steering that is really numb and I drive a boat of an Avant in the C6 now.

The steering from the factory felt pretty good to me, I track my other car so I was trying to avoid some of the stiffness in that car anyway, so I may be biased. 2014 cars may also have some updated programming to feel better. I was skeptical of the steering feel going in, but am happy about it. Doing the suspension and wheels didn't change that part much, but definitely makes me feel less like I'm driving around with ham hocks as tires. Braking feels more confident with little to no nose dive under heavy braking.

Yes, BBS CH-Rs. 20x10.5, tires are Continental DWS 275/30/20. A bit more stretch than I'd prefer, but they already rub a bit and anything wider would further complicate things.

I ordered the coills on ECS, they feel great and I love the in-car control. I'll snap a pic of the button install, the shop had to fab some stuff to make it work, but it looks very clean. I couldn't be happier with them.

And yes, AWDTURBO, they fit with no issues. The install manual shows they are the part for A4 sedan/wagon and A5.

How do you like the Stasis exhaust?

I was skeptical of the system at first (WTF is a toaster doing in the middle of my exhaust?) but it sounds great. I've gotten a few compliments on it already. When I'm cruising on the highway, I can barely tell I have an exhaust on it. When I get on it, it comes to life a bit, but is still refined. I imagine doing a high flow cat would push it beyond what I would want in this car, but it would sound great for anyone considering it. The tips look pretty good under the rear valence, which I will try to take a pic of later also. I could see tips being about 1" longer, but they don't look bad as they are, they fill out the valence openings nicely compared to the stock tips.

The car looks awesome, anytime I see a picture of a white allroad, with unpainted lowers and on lowered suspension it makes me want one just that bit more.

Thanks everyone, just washed it today after the shop raised it up about 3/4", it was rubbing like crazy. About to go out and snap a few more pics. As far as the Stasis adding power, it isn't noticeable I think they advertise 8 hp gain with the system, though.

Ran out and did a proper shoot with the car in a few spots. Car was raised up approx .75" from first photos. Forgive my newbie Lightroom skills.

First pic is of the Bilstein button install, shop had to fab a backing plate to get it to fit snugly. The cover slides over the button just fine. A few pics of the exhaust fitment in there also.

Just came across your build thread while looking up info on the Bilstein Ride Control, and wow, what a beautiful Allroad.

It sounds like you really like the ride control. Did you consider the regular PSS10's as well?
