OEM smell like leather cleaner/conditioner?

Is there any leather care product (perhaps OEM?) that has similar smell like the leather in our B8 A4?
Really want to keep the smell as long as possible :P

any input would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure what it takes but my pops had the new car smell in his g35 up until 80k miles.

Without question there is an exquisite odor when stepping into a brand new car's leather interior

Any passenger entering your car will comment on it - my experience - and will endure for at least a year.
Haven't tried this, however would suggest saddle soap to maintain the leather smell for years, yet lot of effort to apply

Suspect all the aftermarket leather cleaners/enhancers add a 'scent' to their products, based on what they think the leather should smell like.

Yup, they exist, but haven't tried any myself.

Zymol leather cleaner leaves a pleasant smell.

Those "new car" scent smells nothing like a new car. That smell is actually bad from you but I still like it.

Sorry to say but most of that "new car smell" is nothing more than the fresh scent of plastics and adhesive used in putting the car together. I use lemon scent air freshener in my car for a clean fresh smell. Is there such thing as coffee air freshener?...

Z-10 leather in a bottle...this really is the best stuff...especially smell wise.

+1 on the smell being about 50% leather and 50% glue...gotta love it.

Been using Z-6 Gloss Enhancer Spray after hand wash - works great

Plan to do complete Zaino detail in the spring.

I have been using this combo for over a year now. It smells like leather and has a prevented cracks and sun damage quite well in my opinion.

I've used stuff from Adam's Polishes and from Zaino. I like the spray bottle from Adam's and the leather conditioner too. Zaino stuff is probably a bit better, however the bottles aren't as easy to use with the push down spray.
On a side note, doing a full Zaino car detail with claybar, swirl remover, polishes, and wax leaves an amazing result. Best stuff I've every used.

yes... I used to have a coffee air freshener... for a fun way to do that coffee smell...
put fresh roasted coffee beans into a small potpourri bag (zip tie it under a seat)...
when the smell goes... get another one.

I use the Swissvax Leather Cleaner with the 1Z Leather conditioner. I wouldn't say it creates a new car smell, but it certainly produces a fresh, neutral scent that's not overpowering in anyway.

Head to your dealer and ask if they can give you the seat coverings from a vehicle that has just come off the truck. The 'newer' the better and get as many as you can.

Take said coverings and place some in the rear foot wells and/or even drape them over your seats over night. The oils/smells etc from the covers infuses your interior with that new car smell.

It helps if you've done a good detail first.

I had a dealer give me a few back when I had a B6 A4. Drove away and got a hint of what I thought was a Touareg which it was as the covers she gave me was from just that :) Is it bad that I can tell what vehicle I'm in via smell? :)

I got the idea from a guy who worked with BMW and took care of marketing vehicles. At the time BMW hired the company I'm with to do a media shoot for a few of their vehicles and I asked how he kept the cars smelling so new and clean and he did what I posted.

I have a MK1 TT coupe that I do this with when I store her for the winter. Love opening the doors come spring :)

Should ask this in the detailing threads. My preference - Einz products. Detailer Domain sells an interior kit for it. Einz is German, made in Germany, and smells more OEM than my car did when I picked it up (smells closer to the BMW I bought in Germany vice a car shipped to the US).

For scents, I love the chemical guys scents, stripper (mixed with Einz scents creates an incredible smell) or new car scent (my wife prefers a less distinct scent). Plus both of them act as odor neutralizers, and very well at it I might add.
