Their winter sale is the price of one program for 4 programs. I paid around 550 installed for stage one. You can choose any 4 programs you wish to have. I have 91 93 100 and stock.

Great progress so far. Is the bottom middle portion of your front bumper painted or wrapped in a vinyl? Love the contrasting look it gives.

And, what was your drop with the coilovers? Really curious to see how aggressive other NJ drivers are lowering their rides to.

Kidding of course. My iPhone went on the fritz and I was always fascinated by Android phones so I figured this is my chance.

Attempting to install the boost gauge without the steering column mount today was a failure. Realized podi did not ship the steering column mount last week and did get a hold of a rep but since then I have had zero communication after numerous attempt to reach out and see where my mount is. Any who, looks like I'll just detail my interior a little today and do an oil change.

Didn't get around to finishing it. I'm going to have at it again today. My main issue is how to wire everything to the fuse panel. Podis diy seems a little vague to me

Took some pics today and a few videos of the vag mods I have since a few forum members pmed me about it. I'll upload the videos soon. Might have to retake some since it was blurry.

These are just a few of the obvious vag mods I have. It would be easier to list what I don't have lol.

First up is audi drive select.

This has been said to work for some but not all. I for one noticed a huge difference after about 20 miles worth of driving. Off the bat, the steering was noticeably stiffer. Unlike BMWs adaptive drive or however they call it, ADS lite as I like to call it, offers a full time dynamic setting for the steering and engine. You do have the option to choose auto, however since day one I've had it in dynamic and never switched it.

Second and my most favorite is the windows convenience key.

I find this to be a great tool. I will upload a video shortly of the feature. If you tend to be like me and shut off the car and realizing you forgot to close the windows, this allows you to control the windows via the key fob. This also has some serious range. I was about 40 yards away and still had the ability to control it.

Next is the ambient lighting feature. This will only with if you have the lighting package and led foot well lighting if I'm not mistaken. Essentially this allows you to control the ambiance of light while the car is running in the foot wells for the front and rear.

And last one for my review is the battery meter.

Now why this feature isn't activated from the get go is beyond me. While it's not something you will be checking everyday, it's a great tool to have when you need it.

Well if anyone is iffy on a few vagcom mods and needs any questions answered, just ask away. I plan to do a good review of the rest of my mods later.

For now.. A little teaser of what might be coming in soon.

You need to enable the hidden menu via vagcom. Then through the hidden menu you can activate the battery level meter

They aren't very hard to do. The instructions on audi enthusiast and various other sources are very well detailed.

As far as warranty goes, I feel it's more of a dealer to dealer aspect of things much like a tune. If your dealer is tuner friendly then I wouldn't see why they would void a warranty over vagcom mods lol. My suggestion to make sure is to call your dealer and ask if they offer vagcom mods.

    So a couple of questions...
First off. What is recommended as far as a trans fluid change or flush. I searched it and it seemed to be all over the place with yes' and no's.
Second, I will be installing the 034 catch can sometime next week. I was convinced to get the cc drain with it but I dont see any DIY's on it or instructions. Anyone install it yet? Or will I be the first to brave the move?
Lastly. Im in the market for a few things. First being the Eurocode AK. SPC adj. control arms, and 245 or 255/35/19 tires.

Aside from the questions, finally got all of my detailing supplies stocked up. Big thanks to Phil at DD. That being said, I will slowly getting back into the swing of detailing and will be more than happy to provide some services to the NJ/NY area :). Will post more info soon.

Heres the thing if im understanding your question correctly...Your talking about the install part for the catch can to drain back to oil pan right?? if so i dont agree with this idea, and i know some will argue with this including 034 Motorsports, as i have already talked to them on this idea.

A catch can is put into place to CATCH all the condensation in your crankcase...well what is condensation, WATER, not good for a fuel mixture or anything else unless mixed with Meth...Anyways you also have some oil blow by as well since the PCV system is put there to do its job as a "Positive Crank Case Ventilation" sytem, and this oil will get caught and mixed with this water and look like a foamy nasty mixutre in the catch can. Now 034 has this drain back to oil pan feature to drain the OIL back to the pan, but heres the thing, that oil is getting mix with water, and oil is actually lighter in density than water so it sits on top of the water, so what is the FIRST thing to drain into your oil pan!?!?...WATER! thus defeating the purpose of the catch can...

But this is just my 2cents...that drain to oil feature is for a lazy guy who doesn't want to drain a Catch Can but defeat the crap from going into the intake of the motor, even tho it still can as it gets recirculated into the turbo inlet...it will just take longer to reach the cylinders.

    Heres 034s 2cents...

Under normal operating conditions, the catch can would not cycle any more water back to the crankcase. At operating temperature, that vapor ends up exiting the can with the crankcase gasses. You're not really introducing any more water than there would be in the crankcase to begin with. We've had customers in cold climates to do back to back oil analysis with and without the recirculation option.

I'll see what we can do about the hardware for the drain, I believe the allen is kind of an odd size.

    Thanks!

Good point and I visited this idea. However I was under the impression that the drain is operated by releasing everything in the can via a mechanism such as a stop chuck rather than a constant drain. Was I sold incorectly?

Im not sure exactly what they sold you...but even if it was a chuck, your still draining oily water back into your oil pan. But what you could do if it is a chuck or valve that you can manually open, is use that as a drain, when you do want to drain it. I would suggest not using in the way they sold it to you. Run the catch can with out the drain first, drain it into a clear plastic bottle and you will see why i say that
