For those who care about such things (LED front signals)

Just stumbled across this...honestly didn't expect this to be a "new" "world first" type product. Was looking to dump the standard front turn signal amber bulbs since I have the amber LED tails now, and found that apparently no one has been making them until now. A tad spendy at ~$80 a pair but I sprang for a set so I can guinea pig and see if they suck/don't match:

wow, definitely worth the $80!!!

Any idea if these will work on the pre facelift 4 lights? I looked into this a long time ago, and there really wasn't a viable replacement at the time... and I believe the bulb is much harder to access (I could be wrong though, this is just my vague recollection of my research)

If they are PWY24W bulbs, NPuter, then they should work. I guess no one until now had made an LED replacement for this bulb base, is all.

I imagine it will take a few weeks for me to receive them from the Netherlands, but I will post a review.

Good find, been researching for awhile to no avail. I believe there are options for pre FL headlights already. My understanding is they changed the bulb for face lift.

Ordered, received and installed. I am happy with the quality - and received sooner than anticipated. Took a quick video to demonstrate, very similar to the video in OP. Apologies for the focus issues.

Although only a small mod and slightly pricey, I am happy with the results. It seemed odd to me that most other exterior lighting on the vehicle was LED from the factory, with the exception of these bulbs.

This might be a dumb question but can these bulbs lead to errors or electric issues from the (tiny) wattage difference? I don't what them claiming i broke something over a lightbulb and then it's all my problem.

No problem as far as I know. I started the car briefly after installing, no errors, no other messages. I can't imagine a bulb of this wattage would cause any sort of problem. Of course Audi or a dealer can draw their conclusions. I personally feel that these small maintenance items should be serviceable by the consumer versus being reliant on Audi.

Not a dumb question. The ECU will expect a high load on the circuit of a regular bulb or it will trigger a bulb-out warning. The common thing for the past few years was to add a parallel resistor to add enough current to the small LED current to fool the ECU. In many cases the resistors would get too hot and burn or the inconvenience of fitment was a PITA. These bulbs, with all that metal ribbing look like they are already set up with the extra power dissipation to fool the ECU, it says 24W.
Looking forward to the feedback on these.

Put mine in today, 5 minute job. Color is slightly more orange than the mirrors and (euro) tails, but I dig it. Also you lose the orange reflective "glow" when the sun hits the front, so it's all clear looking now.

that imo is all worth it! could care less about the functionality since im not outside to look at my signals blinking when driving lol

anyone have an option for the pre fl?

According to Sylvania's site, which lists the FL 5's front signal light bulb as PWY24W (which matches what the guys above are using), the pre-FL bulb is 64136 which would be different. There are quite a few LED alternatives for the 64136 on SuperBrightLED's and Ebay so I might just purchase a pair and give them a shot when I put my E-Codes in. I'll keep everyone updated what I find.
