$150 to program a key... really?

Long story short I lost my only key that came with my B6 A4 so I went to Audi MV yesterday to see how much a key would be. They told me it's $150 for the physical key and then $149 to reprogram it... So $300 for one key.

I've searched around the forums and almost all of the people I've seen who claimed to go to the dealership to program a new key paid $65 - $75.

I was just wondering what anyone here has paid for a new key to be programmed. $149 seems insane...
