Do you guys get the 3.0TDi V6 over there? I'm considering a forced change to a diesel due to a 14 mile round commute potentially turning into an 80 mile round trip (cost in petrol: $7,700 per year)...

Would love to know what the tuning options for the V6 TDi are (probably a B8).

You can always have a lot of fun with a turbo diesel while still getting amazing fuel economy, that's why my next car will most likely be one. Most of the TDIs that I see are the 3.0 Q7, but we get most that are available as far as I know(no TDI TTs though). From a little bit of quick searching a few days a go, APR looks like they've developed some promising looking tunes for the TDIs.

aaha, the SQ5. Certainly fast enough, but £50k is "just a bit" out of my price range. And I wouldn't buy a traditional shaped 4x4 anyway (there is quite a lot of hostility towards them in the UK).

The VW GTD, while probably a good steer is only a four cylinder which just feels like too much of a come down from the S4.

I was thinking something like this:

That's a good looking car. The steering wheel is on the wrong side though.
