Ok guys, so here is the latest update. The fabrication work is done on the quarters and doors. Now on to the rear bumper.....

Since the rear trunk line on the avant including the tail lamps is completely different, the only way to make this conversion work is to use both bumpers. We started with the factory Sedan S4 bumper, and cut it down the middle so the meeting point between the quarters, trunk and lights are the same. The lower half of the bumper (which is the actual RS4 Avant Bumper) was also cut in half, and fused together to the Sedan Bumper. On the sides, being that the RS4 Flairs were so much larger, the ends had to be flared out to match the OEM Avant Rear Bumper Flair.....

Stay tuned for more updates once the car receives its first coat of paint next week!

Hey guys, sorry for the lack of updates. It's been a busy couple of weeks for everyone.

Here's some quick shots I grabbed from my phone on 11/1:

As of 11/1 almost all of the bodywork was completed. Bumpers and doors had already received the first round of paint. As you can see in deckdout2's post, now the rest of the car is in for paint.

More updates as soon as we can get em' to ya!

Christmas will be coming early :)

This weeks update - Some major progress.....

Our good friends at Hot Rods & Custom Stuff have completed the Fab & body work, and now it has moved onto their paint department. Here you can really see the true lines of the car come out. The car is being painted back to its original Ibis White and will illustrate exactly what an OEM Titanium Package/Black Optics RS4 would look like for 2014.

The TAG Team, as well as Dennis ofcorse, are VERY excited. All the body work and paint is estimated to be completed by 11/20, and then the vehicle will move back to our facility for the final assembly and finishing touches. We are on the HOME STRETCH!!!!

Its crazy to see this thing really coming together...

Maybe it's just the photo's but the sedan body seems to make the fender flares pop more than they do on my car... I very much like this project.

its actually not the photos, the rs4 has significantly more pronounced flares than the rs5
