Just picked up new S4

Hello all. I just picked up my new 2014 S4 6MT on Saturday. Drove it home in some snow showers and it felt very planted and tight. This is my first Audi and trying to get used to the MMI interface and other gadgets. After not driving a manual for some time, the 6MT feels very nice. No pictures yet since the weather in my area is cold and messy, but it's stock so no real surprise what it looks like. This forum was very helpful in my search for the car and negotiation.

Since you mentioned snow: You may want to peek at your tires and see what you're running, your sig shows 19's so I'm guessing you have the P summer tires. I'd highly advise getting some snow tires if that's the case...

Audi Wynnewood. They had it transported up from a dealer in Virginia and swapped out the grill for me since it came with a front plate holder.

Glad you got the Audi. I love these Audi's. I'm in a 2013 so mine is similar to yours. I've grown loyal to the Audi brand. These cars are the most eye catching in the road and the handling is superb. Every car brand has it's drawback but there are more positives than negatives for me. This particular car crosses the threshold of luxury and sportiness. I can say I'm happy and I don't need a upgrade for at least 4 years. Everything above this is purely top notch. Too bad the R8 is almost quadruple the price because that would be my next one but the RS5 is closer.

I was actually thinking the opposite. I went in recently to look at a 2013 and dealt with Chris....he offered me a shit trade-in value on mine and wouldn't budge more than a couple hundred on his sell price. Told me NADA was not an accurate guide for anything, hence the trade in offer $7k less than NADA recommended, yet his sell price was within $1000 of NADA recommended LOL. So I walked away feeling like they were pretty unreasonable.

I had a very good experience with them for a new car. They searched and found a car that met my specs, had it trucked up from a dealer in Virginia, swapped out the grill for one that didn't have a front license plate holder, and this happended within ~ 3 weeks. I got the car for under invoice, plus another $1,000 off for the new owner incentive as my company leases a Merc. Buying a used car and trading in something is a different animal since there are more factors involved. IMO, NADA seems to be high, and it's harder to price accurately with an in-demand, lower volume vehicle. A friend of mine whose family is in the car business would do checks for me on Manheim auction prices which seemed to be a good way to get a feel for what dealers are acutally paying these cars used. But I didn't see too many going through auction tho.
