hey i would like to know if these would fit? I saw a set of vossen wheels front 20x9 et 32 and the rear is 20x10.5 et 42 that im thinking about buying. Will these fit and what size tires can I use? I just purchased a 2005 a6 . It is not lowered yet but I it is in the plans for the future. Any input is welcomed.

Very nice I love the way it sits! Do you have any pics or info on trimming the rear liners?

I just installed my ST coilovers and am running 19x9.5 ET40 all around, and its rubbing in the rear on bumps. Really don't want to raise it if I don't have to.

    Will post pics soon

Unfortunately, I don't have any pics of the trimmed liners. It's pretty minimal as it was only rubbing on the "lip" of the liner closest to the outside if the fenders.

No suspension mods. Considering getting coilovers but Colorado's winters, potholes, and roads arent very forgiving to lowered vehicles.

I have a question regarding a setup that I'm after for next season.
My car is lowered with 40 mm H&R.

I was thinking of going for 20x9 ET38-42 with tires 245/35/20.

Do you guys think I could get away with the spec without rubbing?

Yup. No problem. I have exactly the same set up, but use a 255 tire. I rub sometimes over bumps at speed but otherwise no problem. (ET40)
What kind of wheels are you getting? Pics please!

    Thanks for the info.

Well as it is like 6-7 months to next summer season I haven really made up my mind yet.
But for now Im in to the new RS4,RS6 and RS7 wheels. But im unsure how they would fit on a C6. I know the RS6 C7 wheels fits good as I have seen some in previous posts.

    Hi guys!

So I have been looking at new summer wheels and tires for my Audi A6 i picked up last week. This is my first A6 and i'm not sure what to go with..
At the moment I have the oem 18x8" wheels with 245/40 Nokian Hakkapelliitta 7 studded wintertires. But for those few summer months we here above the arctic circle I want to go with 20".

On my last car a mercedes cklass I had the Kleemann TS7 20x9" 245/30 in the front and 20x10,5" 295/35 in the rear.

What wheels and tires should I be looking at? 20x9 all around maybe? But what about offsets and tires? Can't have anything rubbing and I might get some H&R springs..

I just posted a new thread with this set up, but I thought I'd share it in this thread as well since it's served as a good reference point for me when shopping for wheels.

The new set up - 20x 9.5" ET40 Vorsteiner VFF-102 in Carbon Graphite with 255/30/20 Michelin Pilot Supersports. I'm also running a 5mm spacer all around. The tires actually stretched more than we thought it would but it worked out because we needed them to fit under my fenders. My rears are slightly rolled and barely pulled. Without further ado, here are the pics:

I'm very much appreciating the few profile shots of tire fitment (such as above).

My STs are set to arrive on the 4th and I'm still undecided on tires for projected 19x8.5 (et 37) and 19x10 (et 35) wheel sizes. I'm not buying wheels until I work tire fitment.

Undecided between running a 225 or a 215 up front (for ref: 245 35 19 is the OE spec for a 19 x 8.5 wheel) and 265 or a 255 (for ref: 285 35 19 is proportionate to an OE fitment) in the rear. However, calculators are expressing a difference of 4% rolling diameter between front and rear with this staggered setup.

I'm assuming staggered fitments with quattro is a no-no, due to the rolling diameter diff that I'm coming up with?

Didn't get rid of my OE RS4 wheels when I traded in my A4, 19x9 ET 29 on 235x35x19 Falkan 452's. I've been gone from the site for a while, just catching back up. Thoughts on fitment?

this is my first time riding kumho, but so far i haven't heard anything horrible about them. I got them cheap and ended up paying 520$ for the tires.

Not a spoiler. It is how the sheetmetal is formed on the C6.5. The way the light is hitting the car in the shot really makes that detail pop.
