    That sounds about right. There's definitely room to improve your 60', though. I ran a 12.0 @ 113 at that track with same DA with APR Stg 1 with a 1.66 ft. Shave off a tenth off your 60' and that will be good for ~.2 in the 1/4.

    Ya, was doing a lot of experimenting last night. Installed the stock intake for my first few runs, was curious if the roc euro did anything. Had a 1.69 60ft on it @115 for 12.01. When I put the intake back on and the 60ft went down hill due to traction issues, was spinning through first into second, but was able to get multiple 11 second runs. Using cheap Goodyear all season tires, so my next step would be either better tires or try to lower the launch rpm. Either way I know there's room for improvement still.

    Best I've done was a 1.4 60 foot and that was literally just driving up and being the first one to make a hit at the track.

    I do 1.5s on my pss and also done that on my pzeros it really just matters on the track prep

    Thanks mate it's still new to me. I think my local track is a bit ropey to be honest. I've never done better than 1.75 and often it's 1.9-2+ I'm running p zeros right now but plan to try pss when it's time to change them out. So other than the track there's not much you can do if it's not well prepped then? Try another track I guess.

    first runs at the track tonight, completely stock 2014 including tires with unitronic stage 1+

    no weight reduction ect, used launch control and in comfort suspension for 2 runs, dynamic for the slower run

    with some good tires this would easily be an 11.4 run since i mostly spun in 1st gear , next week i will be doing the stage 2 downpipes and stage 2 tcu tune and going back hoping to run low 11's on pump and high 10's on race gas

    His 60ft is poor and he trapped 119 each rub that's pretty good to me. I encourage anyone with any tune to run a better time. Don't care who just as long as we see better times. Would be awesome to have every tuner run the same 1/4 but the logistics would be pretty difficult to arrange.

    As i said above 119 is great with 1.9 60ft but until someone prove 11.4 is doable with stage1 i am a doubter.

    There are already multiple apr user ran 11.6 and i ran 11.5 with oe tuning last year i just saying no one has reported what unitronic advertised.

    I appreciate he take his time to go track and share his result and i look forward to his stage2 result.

    I think you forget the gas, that was not on race gas, good luck pulling those traps on 93

    Congrats those are impressive times too. But sciblades is right second did three runs and his first runs with that car and that tune all at 119. I've never trapped more than 116-117. Surely these cars can do consistent 119-120 on a stage one with the right setup. Unitronic have made a great tune. Looking forward to see what EPL tunes run too in better conditions.

    Heck of a some runs for sure, fantastic. 11.5's for sure would have been doable with a 1.6X 60'. 10.9x with downpipes and race gas, possible with a real low DA and a perfect 60'.

    What track to you run at? What was the DA? weather in PA last night looked like it was really good

    Thanks everyone, this car hauls! Not only that but it's still very smooth and oem like in power delivery.

    This was at numidia dragway which I consistently run 2/10 slower than I do at maple grove or Cecil (not trying make excuses)

    according to Drag times, looks like Numidia was in the negative DA range last night. Great night to get some good time

    at the time i ran it was +228 and lowest was right around 0, unfortunately i couldnt stick around late as they do bracket racing and i lost first round lol

    1/4 mile results from last night, 10/22/16

    11.8 @ 114

    DA 1600-1800 throughout the evening
    temps from 60-70

    13 S6
    EPL ECU stg 1 tune. 93 map on 93 octane
    EPL DSG Tune
    Rock Euro Intake
    Full weight including car seat :) and 3/4 tank of gas

    My local track, Thunder Valley, just south of Oklahoma City. Certainly not known to be a particularly fast track where many PB are gotten

    Fairly happy overall. I don't have any stock runs to compare to unfortunately. The small turbo's really don't have much top end to them and just don't pick up that much mph the second 1/8 mile. RS turbo swap is probably inevitable at some point, maybe in the spring.

    Car #243 on the rt hand slip was a 16 Z06 for some reference, sounded maybe slightly modded but don't know for sure and don't know if it was stick or auto.


    Something related or unrelated, I don't really know. But with about half my runs the "EPC" light would come on shortly after the launch and the car would go into quasi limp mode. Not completely pulling power, but very noticeable and would end up trapping like 100mph on those runs. A guy had a scanner that I could clear the code with (but could not pull the actual code for some reason) and then it would be fine after that.. but then it would happen again later. Kind of frustrating. The dealer recently diagnosed bad motor mounts, which I have not gotten replaced yet and I had misfire issues last month as well, my guess is that it is all related. Got my best 60' of the night, 1.62, on one of these "EPC" light runs.. might have been able to squeeze out an 11.79 on that one if it had not cut power.

    Fairly happy overall. I don't have any stock runs to compare to unfortunately. The small turbo's really don't have much top end to them and just don't pick up that much mph the second 1/8 mile. RS turbo swap is probably inevitable at some point, maybe in the spring.

    Car #243 on the rt hand slip was a 16 Z06 for some reference, sounded maybe slightly modded but don't know for sure and don't know if it was stick or auto.


    Something related or unrelated, I don't really know. But with about half my runs the "EPC" light would come on shortly after the launch and the car would go into quasi limp mode. Not completely pulling power, but very noticeable and would end up trapping like 100mph on those runs. A guy had a scanner that I could clear the code with (but could not pull the actual code for some reason) and then it would be fine after that.. but then it would happen again later. Kind of frustrating. The dealer recently diagnosed bad motor mounts, which I have not gotten replaced yet and I had misfire issues last month as well, my guess is that it is all related. Got my best 60' of the night, 1.62, on one of these "EPC" light runs.. might have been able to squeeze out an 11.79 on that one if it had not cut power.



    11's nice. Don't be unhappy you have a fast car and I'm sure you'll get it even faster. Your 60ft aint bad either 1.6 I've never had that low. Re your EPC and misfire i wonder if you're running to lean? You have enough fuel 3/4 tank but when i had my misfire it was because id run the car too low on fuel and when i launched it the fuel went to the back of the tank and when i breaked the light went off again. Might be worth trying to log the car when you run it if possible see what the issue is

    With a dsg tune and normal tune on stage one he should be trapping 11.4/5 that is what uni and apr are doing on pump

    Plus the trap is crazy low a stock s6 traps faster.

    It's really tough to do internet racing comparisons between cars when your talking about a few tenths and a few mph. Unfortunately at this local track of mine I doubt I will ever see the conditions, 30-50 degrees and 0 or negative DA, that would more accurately compare to some of the times that are being benchmarked. We will probably never see several cars with several different set up's at the same track on the same day to make 100% definetive claims. But what fun would that be, then we would not get to discuss, analyze, and dissect everything. I would say, all things considered, that the car is the ballpark of where it should be but probably not going to set any records even in the best of conditions.

    With due respect I can't say crazy low it might be weight related. I'm a stout fellow myself and my stock traps were around 110-111 MPH at 4625 lbs on the track scale. My best trap on stage 1 (93) was 115 MPH. Another racer said I should be at 119 too but I don't see how since my trap speed/weight calculation puts me at around 480-490HP stock and 550HP Stage I which is about what I expect. Maybe if I were lighter then maybe I'd trap the 118-119 making the same power.

    I'm not denting conditions affect times but, EPL has not had any solid numbers from any of their users.

    My suggestion is I weight 183 which I think is a normal American weight, if you feel you are 300ish take your back seats out it will save you 100lbs you will then see the weight is not the issue causing his epc light to come on, that is tune.

    I think we should do a yearly get together, that would be fun. Get a bunch of guys together and rent out one of the fast tracks like Atco, cicil or pbir.

    Renting out a track is not as much as some people would think.. especially if you can do it on one of their off days and not Fri-Sun. In planning one in the past it was around $3K for a weekday IIRC. You get 30 or so cars together and the shared cost is not much
