I'll have to do some digging, but does anyone offhand know what the quickest / fastest Stage 2 S6 or S7 times are on pump fuel, and race fuel?

Pretty sure speros 11.3xx was the quickest stage 2
I think stage 1 customers have the fastest 120-121)
All on race fuel. Not sure about pump as many don't run with it when they go to track

If you have some good info let it out. On the fence about getting another s6 :)

We've gone 11.0@124, 11.0@124 and 11.0@124 so far. Pretty consistent but so close to 10's! The last run was 11.01. The agony!

What's the pump gas records? Anyone know?

We're down to 11.3@121 on pump gas so far. We brought one EE's s7 and the other's s6. The s6 is dirty, on cheap looking all season tires, with our downpipes, stage 2 tune, Dsg software and 93 octane pump fuel. It's full weight. Nothing special. I think that's awesome!

Definitely great. The mph is the surprise. On your website you are showing 11.6@117 but again i don't think it had the dct tune.

I am curious on how the rs7s will respond to the downpipes and the revised tune! :)

Haha Vlad bro cant compare S6 to E63, you realise RS6 get into 10s easy with stage 1? Lot of ppl have mid 10s with race fuel on stage1.

Also its so much harder to mod E63, to change downpipe you have to remove whole engine same with turbo upgrade, Audi much easier

AMGs are amazing machines. I am considering the GT in a few years or maybe the new R8 with the small turbo engine.

But dollar for dollar the RS7 spanks alla competition. Noone runs mid 10s with tune only. True, they have big aftermarket support if you want to spend mega money and they can be extremely fast, but in essence to have the E63 run mid 10s you are looking probably in the 20+ K in mods. If the tuner statements are true in terms of power, with just the downpipes and let's say the roc-euro intake that claims mega power, then the rs7 with an investment of significantly less than 10k you could be running low 10s all day long probably closer to 135mph...

    I agree here , but : cats out in 15 minutes on s6/rs 6 hours st2 E 10.9 on pump gas , st3 in 9s 1/4 , no rs6/7 in 9's yet , I know 1 car can do it , but 50 k euro ... I'm going to pull the engine out soon , for the full exhaust and turbo swap , I used to that with S4 . stock E > rs7 btw and cheaper

What would be very cool is to have so head to head RS7 and S6 Stage 3 1 mile runs. These cars have so much freaking HP/TQ that being able to run WOT for a mile would be incredible

Using the upcoming APR 4.0 TFSI Cast Exhaust Downpipes and new APR Stage II ECU Upgrade, we set out to test the C7 S6 and C7 S7 in various configurations, ultimately resulting in two new and exciting records!

The S6 was outfitted with the APR Stage II ECU Upgrade, APR TCU Upgrade, APR Cast Downpipes, 93 octane fuel and all season tires on factory wheels at full vehicle weight. With a 1.733 60 foot time, the best result of the day was an [email protected] MPH. The heavier S7 was outfitted with the same mods, but ran with Sunoco GT260+ 104 Octane fuel and Michelin tires on APR Wheels, again at full vehicle weight. With a 1.678 60 FT time the best result of the day was an [email protected] MPH! The density altitude remained close to 0 feet all day according to dragtimes.com. For comparison sake, our best results with the factory equipped vehicle was [email protected] MPH and [email protected] MPH using only our Stage I ECU Upgrade, and 93 octane fuel.

Over the course of the day, we ran several times, backing the 11.3 pump fuel results. We frustratingly backed the 11.0 multiple times, mere hundreds away from our goal of a 10.9 on factory turbo. The video does not show the fastest runs as those were captured after the film crew left as they had prior Super Bowl Sunday obligations.

On the dyno, the Stage II ECU Upgrade, paired with the APR Cast Downpipes offers a substantial leap in power and torque, which contributes heavily to to the faster times at the track. Stay tuned for the official release and GO APR!

On the dyno, the Stage II ECU Upgrade, paired with the APR Cast Downpipes offers a substantial leap in power and torque, which contributes heavily to to the faster times at the track. Stay tuned for the official release and GO APR!
I just watched the video. Congrats guys!

It seems to me based on the website, the stage 2 car on pumpgas picked up almost 5mph traps, which is very impressive! Using an old rule of thumb 1mph for every 10awhp then I would expect that the car probably picked up 40-50 awhp from the downpipes and the revised tune. I am not sure if this time is skewed by the revised transmission software also, but it is definitely inpr3ssibe.

If those gains are carried over to the rs7 platform in similar fashion then I would expect to see pumpgas rs7s running 130 mph traps and on racegas probably closer to 135mph which is retarded fast on just tune and downpipes!

    Any plans to test rs7s?

I don't think we'll get a chance to take an RS7 to the track before the release.

if this s6 was on race gas and had a similar 60' wouldnt that car break into the 10's and trap closer to 127?
Why was race not used in that test?

My best run of 4 last night at Palm Beach International Raceway. The weather was nice and [Florida] cold. According to dragtimes.com, the DA was -625 at 8:53PM (this run is from 9:15PM)

Car 0005 (right lane) 2013 S6, APR Stage 1 v1.1 reflash running 93 octane map. Stock everything else (TCU software, turbos, 20" wheels, etc.) on 255/35/20 Pirelli P Zeros. Car was at full weight (including spare, jack, and tools, and my big heavy ass driving). Immediately after teching in at the track my miles to empty said 0, which means about 2.5 gallons left in my case. I put in 3 gallons of 100 octane Sunoco GT 260, but remained on the 93 map all night. I used launch control and left the transmission in S and let it do the shifting.

This is my first time back to the track since getting the 1.1 update last April-ish. The weather no doubt contributed (though it was quite cold last February when I went) but the 1.1 update did wonders! Previous 100 octane bests in this car on v1.0 are 11.494 ET and 120.65 MPH, both obtained with a 120 lb. driver (he is consistently 0.2 quicker and about +1.5 MPH faster than when I drive). These times last night were on the 93 octane map with me driving -- I am a happy man!

I don't even own a 6/7 but I tend to spend a lot of time in this section -- loved your s6 project too!
